For me, design means utility, beauty and communication.

I’ve worked as a designer in journalism since 2009. In that time, I’ve collaborated with reporters, editors, photographers, videographers and other creatives on the presentation of critical news in a form that makes a deep and lasting impression on readers and viewers.

Outside of the newsroom, I enjoy painting landscapes and surrealist imagery in oil and acrylic, as well as writing and illustrating comics.
